M. Beth Krugler’s credentials are unique
in that she is one of just a handful of professionals in Texas with inter-disciplinary training and experience in both law and psychology.

Beth was born in 1956 in Hobbs, New Mexico. The daughter of a minister, the family lived in several states before coming to Giddings, Texas, a small town near Austin, where she grew up and attended high school. Beth then enrolled in Texas A&M, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in 1977. She continued at A&M, putting herself through graduate school, earning a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology in May of 1979.

For the next few years, Beth worked in the Midwest as a therapist with individuals, couples and families experiencing crisis and change. In 1982, she returned to Texas to enroll in Baylor Law School. She supported herself through law school by working fulltime evaluating children and their families at Methodist Home.

After graduating from Baylor in February of 1985, she became an associate with one of the largest law firms in Fort Worth. For five years, she worked in medical malpractice, personal injury and commercial litigation. She then went in-house with a large Fort Worth corporation in the company’s labor arbitration section.

In January of 1992, Beth opened her mediation, training and consulting firm. Since then, Beth has mediated or arbitrated over 3,100 cases in areas as diverse as employment, personal injury, bank fraud, medical and legal malpractice, breach of contract and bad faith. Regarding the training she does, Beth works with firms, businesses and associations teaching effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

An AV-rated lawyer, Beth has been listed on virtually every lawyer “best of” list for several years running (Texas Monthly Super Lawyers; Fort Worth Business Press; Fort Worth, Texas Magazine). A Past President of the Tarrant County Bar Association (2003-2004), Beth also served on the Board of Directors (1999-2001) and as President-Elect (2002-2003). She chaired such programs as the Ninth Annual Bench Bar Conference, and was instrumental in the design and implementation of the widely acclaimed Jury Innovation Symposiums (1998-2002). In 2005, Beth was appointed to the Professionalism Committee for the State Bar of Texas; in 2009, she was selected to serve on the Council of the State Bar’s Dispute Resolution Section.

In addition to her license to practice law, Beth maintains her credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. In the past, Beth has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Texas Wesleyan Law School, teaching Conflict Resolution. Beth is a frequent guest speaker and has appeared on national television. She’s written various professional articles on topics ranging from novel approaches to conflict resolution to jury trial innovations, which have been published in the TEXAS BAR JOURNAL.
